Re: City Prepares for wave of retiring staff, Sept. 13.
I want to put in my bid right now for one of those city hall jobs that has a $100,000-plus annual salary.
That’s $8,333 a month.
Even before filling out the application form I can say what I would be prepared to offer for that amount of money: massages, haircuts, interpretive dancing, a capella singing, homemade snacks, shoeshines and round the clock availability to disgruntled tax payers.
