Re: Province promises to reduce HST rate, May 26.
Can you trust your new Premier? A little food for thought. You decide.
This is a direct quote spoken by Christy Clark on March 21 2011 in an interview with Harjinder Thind on Radio CKYE:
“We aren’t going to be talking about trying to reduce it by a point or two before the referendum. I mean, I think people will see that as buying them with their own money.”
Think about that statement for a moment and then compare it to the announcement made on May 25, 2011. You know, the one about reducing the HST by two points over three years.
