LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Phone companies should crack down on scammers

It’s time for these companies to be held accountable, says letter writer

To the editor,

It’s time for telephone companies to be held accountable for scammers and fraudsters using their services illegally to steal from society.

The phone companies have enough technical support and sophistication to address such problems. If they don’t, they better start trying, yet they presently offer no visible assistance to customers and the country.

The anti-social, bad behavior exhibited by this criminal element is a ruthless invasion our upon society. It needs to stop.
