LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Election ballots should come with warning labels

Voters need to be reminded of the performance of the incumbent candidates, says letter writer

Re: More warning labels might save us from ourselves, Opinion, Aug. 24.

The commentary overlooked one necessary warning label. Although not lawful, this warning label should be placed above every election ballot, federal, provincial, and municipal and remind the voters of the performance of the incumbent candidate. If the municipal under-used bike lanes, the decrepit provincial health-care system, and the poor performance of our federal leaders are any indication, lack of effective accountability in all levels of government must be addressed.
