To the editor,

Am I the only one that is ashamed by the actions of our city council and city administrators?

The council seems to have no trouble spending millions on a convention centre that is mainly used as a theatre where they hold their squabbles that have resulted in legal actions against each other which are later dropped, and about a $50,000 bill from the Integrity Group to teach them to play nicely together (a portion of which they now are being sued for non payment). It seems that the only things that they can agree on are projects that involve spending millions of our money.

How much are we taxpayers paying in legal fees for this unruly group to carry out the business of our city?

Ken Hall, Nanaimo
