It’s starts and stops that are the problem

I am all in favor of lowering the limit to 70 or even 60, if the traffic lights were co-ordinated so that we didn’t have to stop and start.

Re: Speed limits need to be lower in north end, Opinion, Jan. 17.

I am all in favor of lowering the limit to 70 or even 60, if the traffic lights were co-ordinated so that we didn’t have to stop and start every 500 metres. I’m sure the computer technology exists to do this. It would save a lot of fuel and brake pads too. And lessen road rage.
