Before my property taxes become my first-mortgage equal, city spending must be curtailed.
Just to name one of the obvious money savers, think garbage. I know staff is talking about how hard it is to lift garbage cans for these delicate union workers. Instead of eliminating this mess and the pensions that follow all the abused sick days, they endorse it. They are secretly planning a new fleet of trucks with forklifts to pick up our new-model garbage bins that we will pay dearly for.
Divide the routes into separate contracts for private bidders and save money.
