Re: Campaign signs pollute view of city, Letters, April 23.
Gordon Halkett’s views about signs on private property seem just a little too self-serving, since he is a realtor.
Civic, provincial and federal elections are routinely around 30 days and even this year when it appears we may have all three, that would total well less than one-third of a year.
Home or condo listing signs can be viewed 365 days a year and in far more locations. That doesn’t include the private ‘for rent’ or ‘for sale by owner’ signs.
I bet you don’t have to go more than a couple of blocks to see one and it will be up well after May 2.
