Re: Dog owner choked up over chain, July 14.
Several years ago we lost a beautiful, loving Rhodesian Ridgeback in just such an accident in a Parksville dog park.
She was wearing a Martindale training collar which got entangled with another dog.
We are still traumatized about this and agree there should be no collars in the dog park.
