Re: Broom’s strengths could be beneficial, Letters, May 14.
In reply to Matt James’s letter on Scotch broom’s strengths, I would reply that broom is to our advantage in its colour and its deterrent from the endless, boring lengths of trees that line the highways of this area.
It is a pleasure to see the yellow bloom. It does no harm and may it multiply to deter from the monotony of the same trees, mile after mile after mile.
