To the Editor,
Can someone enlighten me as to why the majority of Chinese manufactured products I purchase end up broken, and usually very soon after purchase?
I have to search hardware stores, and my personal accumulation of discarded bits and pieces to fix or end up throwing them out in disgust. The concepts are good, and the items attractively presented, but the components are not adequately thought out with regards to wear, and function; and the materials usually inferior.
I have never experienced this with American and European products.
Unfortunately, this is an environmental disposal disaster in the ‘making.’
