Re: War memorial earns federal grant money, Oct. 8.
In my opinion, the cenotaph should be built at the legion. Our war veterans would still be able to sit inside the legion building before the Remembrance service when it is cold and raining outside. Also, many of our veterans would be unable to walk from the legion to the park and back again. I think this should be thought about again. After all, who are the important people who attend, but the veterans?
