To the Editor,
I would like to acknowledge the effort of the South End Community Association, Norm Abbey, Tanya and Doug Hiltz for their work in Wisteria Lane.
Wisteria Lane was a very stark place in our community. As a longtime resident from neighbouring Nob Hill, I have had first-hand experience with the all but impossible task of making change within Wisteria Lane. Their effort has been a breath of fresh air and has provided much-needed community attention to an unhealthy cityscape.
I encourage Nanaimoites to take the time walk through Wisteria Lane. May we see a few more brightly hand-painted utility poles throughout our varying boroughs.
