Re: Brothers avoid prison time for bar fight death, April 29.
There was not any real justice for Michael Brophy.
Adding insult to injury is a $100 victim surcharge. Well, if this is restorative justice, then I must be living in an alternate world. Michael Brophy is unfortunately still getting victimized by the so-called justice system while the Maybin brothers just get a simple slap on the hands.
It’s now time for a very much-needed and serious change.
