Johnson, William Malcolm (Bill) born in Rosetown, Saskatchewan, November 16,1928 passed away peacefully on November 23, 2002 at Nanaimo Hospital.
Bill was predeceased by his daughter Bree Stewart and parents Meta and Clarence Johnson.
He is survived by his loving family, wife Peggy, daughters Carol (Alan) Pettigrew, Pauline (Doyle) Carson, Lonja (Carl) Berggren, Valisa Johnson, Linda (George) Barta, sons Marty (Diane), Dan (Gina), stepchildren David (Deanna), Ruth and Michelle Read, brother Al (Sheila), sister Cleona (Gordon) Winter and many grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Bill was a quiet man with a warm, friendly smile. He loved to dance, play bridge and go for long walks on his farm. A celebration of Bill’s life will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers a donation to a charity of your choice.
