ARMSTRONG - William Allan
– March 26, 1923 ~ October 20, 2008 –
Allen passed away peacefully with his dog Gypsy by his side. Born in Prince George, he grew up in Prince Rupert and moved to Nanaimo in 1953. He worked in radio as a DJ in the 1940’s before finding his calling in real estate with Armstrong Agencies in Prince Rupert and Dolphin Agencies in Parksville. He was a fan of jazz and big band music, at one time active with Shriners, Toast-masters, Gyro and V.I. Real Estate Board. He leaves behind wife Joy and her 2 children, Christine, Tony; his sister Mary; first wife Berit and their 4 children Ginny (Scott), Murray (Parm), Blake (Kellie), Kelli (Gary), 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
