February 1944-June 2020 ~ Bill passed away at his home in Hammond Bay, which overlooks the fishing grounds he navigated as a young boy. Later he became a very successful and well respected commercial fisherman on the west coast in his boat the Thetis Prince.
Saddened by Bill's passing are his brother Bob (Jill) and sister Sharon and their families.
He will be especially missed by his grandnieces and grandnephew.
He will also be missed by his sports fishing partners and wonderful neighbours. Friends remember him as a giant of a man with a heart of gold.
Bill was predeceased by his wife Noreen in 2011. If you wish, donations in Bill's name can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.firstmemorialnanaimo.com
