Wendy Grubac

On Thursday, February 13, 2020, Wendy Grubac loving wife, mother, and baba passed away at the age of 63.
Wendy was born on December 17, 1956 in Abbotsford, B.C. to Wiegand & Julie Dyck. She received her CDA from Malaspina College in 1975. On August 25, 1984 she married Dan Grubac. They raised 3 children together. She had a passion for painting, animals, travelling, charity work, involvement within the community, and mentoring the new generation. She was admired for her infectious smile, compassion, unconditional love she spread to everyone, and the patience of an angel. Her world revolved around her beautiful grandchildren.
Wendy was preceded by her father, Wiegand Sr. She is survived by her husband Dan, daughter Tiffaney (Matt), son Danilo Jr. (Michelle), daughter Tamsyn (Cory), grandchildren Natalija, Danilo III, Waylon, and Navy, her mother Julie, brother Wiegand Jr., and numerous nieces, and great nephews and nieces.
Her celebration of life will be held at Sands Funeral Home in Nanaimo on Sunday, March 8, 2020 11:00 am. Flowers are great fully declined, donations may be made to the Nanaimo SPCA or the trauma unit at NRGH.
