Wagner, Captain Wayne Murray
Born August 26, 1939 in Liverpool, Nova Scotia; passed away into the presence of the Lord January 25, 2004. Predeceased by father Douglas; Wayne is survived by his loving wife Jean; mother Joyce; children Chris & Michelle, Andrea & Jeff, Travis and Stephen; grandchildren Alana, Robert, Dustin, Joyce and Mark; brothers Gary & Pam, Randi & Pauline and John & Maxine, numerous nieces and nephews, brother and sister-in-law Maynard and Janet Colp. Captain Wayne sailed the seas for the better part of 35 years. He dearly loved his family and friends. The last 12 years was spent maintaining safe, affordable and comfortable housing for low income families. There will be a private family gathering followed by a 2:00pm open house at Wayne’s home on Saturday, February 7th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wayne’s name to Harewood Community Church, 8A-501 Sixth St. Nanaimo, BC V9R 5W6
