In loving memory ~
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wayne on December 22, 2021 after a brief, courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by Sandra, his loving wife of 23 years, his children Melanie (Jason), Jolene (Steve), Kendra (Marc), 6 grandchildren, 1 brother, 3 sisters, 2 nieces and 1 nephew. Wayne is predeceased by his parents, Peter and Hazel. He began his career in 1971 with BC Ferries and retired as a Marine Engineer in 2017. Wayne had a passion for car racing, car shows and loved to go on cruises and travel with his wife. He lived a healthy, fit lifestyle until cancer took him away too soon. He was an easy going, kind hearted man and took life in stride, he would often say "it is what it is".
