Vivian Ethel Kepka

Vivian Ethel Kepka , went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Monday September 16, 2019 in her 88th year. Vivian had suffered a near death experience in May of 2018, being left with the use of only 26% of her heart. She was a very feisty women, and needed to be, because her husband Paul Kepka passed away in December of 2018 and she had much to do. It was a shock to all who knew them, and loved them. Vivian was very sad and had lost all her spunkiness shortly after Paul's passing. That was until she had a couple of close friends over, who had a Holy Spirit filled prayer time with her, afterwards she got up went to the washroom, and came back looking and talking like she was 10 years younger. She was charged back up, and ready for the big adventure of selling her Victoria Condo and buying a Nanaimo Condo. It was in a building that Vivian and Paul had watched being built and had set their hearts on and dreamed of buying. Paul had even advised the builder in the beginning to turn the building around and give more of the units a spectacular view of the Nanaimo harbour, which he did.
Vivian had a hidden passion for popcorn that only a few people knew about, oh did I mentioned she loved ice cream as well? Vivian will surely be missed by those who knew her, and loved her. What an amazing women you were Vivian. May you rest in peace beside your beloved husband and friend Paul.
Vivian is survived by her sister Elaine Engel and Niece Faith of Moosejaw Sk. Her sister-in-law Doris Hunter of Calgary Ab. and sisters and niece of Paul Kepka's in Hungary. Internment to be held on September 30 at 10:30 am at Cedar Memorial Gardens in Cedar followed by a memorial service, 1pm at Generations Church, 1300 Princess Royal Ave Nanaimo.
