Thomas, Virginia Vale (nee AnDyke), aged 94, passed peacefully in Nanaimo on December 9, 2018, with family by her side. Born in Portland, Oregon to Glenn and Virginia AnDyke. She spent 15 years as a nurse, including in WWII. She lived in Portland, then Victoria. Beloved wife of Len, who predeceased her; mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. Virg loved camping, hiking, sewing, travelling and her family most of all. Many thanks to the staff of Nanaimo Seniors Village for their loving care. No service at her request.
