Violet Georgina Furlan (nee Tonzetich) passed away peacefully with her loving daughters, Vanessa and Adrianna at her side. She was pre-deceased by her husband Metod. Violet will be remembered with much affection and admiration by all her family (including granddaughter Victoria), and those that knew her.
Mom was born in Nanaimo on January 6th, 1938. She had a successful and enjoyable teaching career in School District 68.
At the end she let out a small sound of recognition that we were there. Then with pursed lips of silence she left with Angels who helped her on God's way.
We would like to thank the staff at Eden Gardens for their tremendous support throughout this difficult time.
Funeral will be on Saturday January 25th at 11 am at Trinity Catholic Church on Spartan Rd.
