ROSENGART, Ute (U.S.F.)
It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of a very special woman, Ute Rosengart.
Ute Sidonie Franziska Rosengart born Sept 30, 1934 in Germany, passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early morning of January 21, 2009 at Sunridge Place in Duncan, British Columbia at the age of 74. Ute is survived by a network of individuals (they know who they are) who will miss her deeply and are grateful for allowing them into her very private life.
Ute immigrated to Canada arriving first in Alberta before eventually settling in Chemainus, British Columbia. Her love of Eric, gardening and dogs was foremost in her life as was her community support. Those who knew her well will probably still have one of her dried flower arrangements. Ute should be commended for her very generous (private) donations to many individuals, local community charities and national charitable organizations.
Ute it was your time to "Go Away" - so wherever you are now, may you have air in your lungs, a dog on your leash and Eric's hand in yours.
Naturally, there won't be a funeral or memorial service, so please don't send any flowers. Any donations you may wish to make, please send to the Chemainus Health Care Foundation and have the receipt made out to yourself! Thanks!
