It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear, loving wife and Mom after a lengthy illness. Mom was able to be at home in Qualicum Beach until she went to the Palliative Care Unit at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital for a short period before her passing. Ursula is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, Len; daughter Christine(Kootnekoff); son David; and her last remaining sibling of 10, sister, Christa Dovell(Sutherland)of Parksville.
Dad and I would like to extend our gratitude to Oceanside Home Support - special mention to nurse, Raymonde, for all of the kindness, care and compassion you gave Mom.
Mom was a true inspiration to her family and friends that knew her. She had an incredible love for life and showed relentless strength through all that she faced. Ursula will never, ever be forgotten.
