We are sad to inform you that Tomo Zalac has passed away on July 14th after a short illness at Nanaimo hospital. Tomo was 79 years old. Tomo will be buried beside his parents in Croatia.
Tomo left behind friends in Nanaimo and relatives in Croatia. We will remember him as a friendly, quiet and compassionate person. He liked gardening, growing vegetables, fixing and making things.
We will miss Tomo a lot and keep him in our memories. A child who knew him said: "Tomo is picking apples in heaven".
