Lang, Theodosia Mary
January 7, 1916 - November 29, 2009
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother. God has taken our Angel to join her beloved husband, Arthur Clay Lang, and her infant daughter Karen.
Born to Reverend and Mrs. Ingram in Regina, SK. Mom married Arthur in 1939. They moved west to Powell River and raised 5 children, settling in Nanaimo, BC.
Mom loved music and dance. She enjoyed playing piano for family and friends. She was loved by many because of her friendship, devotion, love and acceptance for all who crossed her path.
She was a wonderful mother and a dear friend.
She is survived by her sister, Vera; her niece Linda and family in Waterloo, ON., her 5 children: Patricia (Jim), Marjorie, Roberta (Robert), Bill (Sandy), and Susan, her loving grandchildren (11) and great grandchildren (7).
She will be greatly missed by her dear friend Vera from Wexford Creek Care Home.
We would like to thank her amazing care providers at Wexford Creek with a special thank you to Dr. Colborne and Pastor Gary Schenk.
A very special thank you to Mom’s dear friend Sheryl for her caring friendship and support.
Mom will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends may join us in celebration of her amazing life on Jan. 16, 2010 at First Memorial, 1720 Bowen Rd., Nanaimo, BC at 11 am.
