It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many.
She was predeceased by her mother Terezie Sookyova (1994), father Julius Sooky (2007), brother Julius Sooky Jr. (2012). She is survived by husband Tomas Hosak, children Monika (Ted) and Tomas (Elaine); grandchildren Nicholas, Samantha, Kodi, Brad (Chantel) and Jennifer (Drew); great grandchildren Autumn, Austin and Jayden; and brother Ladislav.
Born and raised in Czechoslovakia, Teri moved to Canada with her family in 1988. She lived each moment of every day to the fullest. She was kind, loving and caring, always smiling. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Her garden and plants were her sanctuary.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Pleasant Valley Hall, Sunday November 11th at 2:00 pm. Donations to Palliative Care at Nanaimo Hospital.
