Suzanne Benoit
1952 – 2016
Our beloved Suzanne passed away suddenly on Saturday July 30, 2016 at NRGH. Our sincere thanks and gratitude goes out to the nurses and doctors in ICU who took such wonderful care of her.
Suzanne was always full of energy. It’s told that she ran before she could walk, and that is how she approached her life - with zest. Suzanne loved art, loved to cook, travel and dance. You would frequently find her at the Blues Jam at the Queen Hotel on Sundays. She volunteered for decades with the Rotary Nanaimo North which was very dear to her heart. Her nieces and nephews loved their “Auntie Zanne” as she always had time for them to do fun things and took them on adventures. Suzanne touched so many lives, words cannot express how much she’s missed. Her siblings, Lynda, Gary, Danielle, Carole, Sandra and Richard, are left with a huge hole in their hearts.
