October 26, 1942 – December 25, 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Carol Reddick (nee: McAdams), on December 25, 2019. Sue was born on October 26, 1942 in Victoria, BC to her parents Kathleen and Alan McAdams. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Roger Reddick; her children and their families, Jason and Heather Brown, Amanda Brown and Ken Dack, Suzanne and Blaine Kuefler and Cindy Reddick; her siblings and their families, Ian and Joy McAdams, Gordon McAdams; her grandchildren Katie and McAdam Brown, Saryn Dack, Kailin Kuefler, Mika and Ellie Reddick; as well as her numerous nieces and nephews. Sue was predeceased by her parents, her sister Nancy McAdam, her granddaughter Selena Kuefler and her first husband Roderick Keith Brown.
After retirement, Susan and Roger were able to travel extensively in their motor home visiting family and friends far and wide, including becoming Snowbirds to visit winter friends in Yuma, Arizona.
Over the course of her life, Sue’s personality touched so many people. Her wit and sense of humour, as well her kind and considerate nature were not unlike a magnet, drawing people to her. She will be so fondly remembered by not only her family, but her numerous friends from childhood to the present, as well as her work colleagues at Canada Trust and her caregivers of Kiwanis Lodge and all of those who have come to know her over her lifetime.
A celebration of life will be on Saturday March 14, 2020 1 pm at the Complex Auditorium of Bowen Park (500 Bowen Road), Nanaimo, B.C. In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA would be appreciated.
