Stanley Frank Hill, aged 94 years, passed away peacefully at Dufferin Place, Nanaimo, B.C. on April 20th, 2009.
Survived by his wife of 19 years, Shirley Hennessy, 3 step-children: Colin, Elaine and Deanna, all of Nanaimo, B.C. and seven step-grandchildren. Stan served in the Army for 30 years and told many fond stories of his service in the Middle East and in The Hague, Netherlands. Upon leaving the Army, Stan moved to Parksville, B.C. and took the position of Postmaster until retirement in 1980 then moved to Nanaimo in 1990.
