Sophie Hughes-Games died peacefully in her home on July 29th, 2024, at the age of 92. Sophie was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on August 23, 1931, to Anna and William Klimchuk.
Sophie received her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation at UBC in 1973, married Leslie Hughes-Games in 1975 and shortly after immigrated to Australia, where she spent 20 years working in her field of Physiotherapy. She and her husband delighted in the outdoors and in creating beautiful and bountiful gardens.
She was predeceased by her husband Leslie, and is survived by many nieces and nephews.
