Sophia “Huk”Ross
July 6, 1927 ~ January 27, 2009
It is with great sadness, our family announces the passing of Sophia at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.
She will be greatly missed by her husband Douglas, children Trevor White (Sharon), Lou-Ann Winchester (Kevin), and Roy White, grandchildren Jeffrey, Krista, Cory, Jason, and Royanna, and great grandchildren Jordan, MacKenzie and Brady as well as many other special people in her life.
A gathering of family and friends took place on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Sands Funeral Chapel, 1 Newcastle Avenue, Nanaimo, BC.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
