Born in Cavaso Del Tomba, Italy. It is with sad hearts to announce the passing of Siro. He is survived by his loving wife Cecilia of 60 years, two sons Al (Ishoon), Rick, sister Maria Calzavara and nephew Roberto in Italy, brother Armando (Yoka), nephew Roberto, great nephews Nico, Tony, Dario, niece Liana, great nephew Brayden, great niece Sierra as well as many friends.
Siro immigrated to Canada in 1948 and made his home in Nanaimo. He was a carpenter by trade and superintendent for G.A. McIntosh Construction.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Parish, 301 Machleary Street, Nanaimo, BC. A Celebration of Siro’s life will follow at the Cavallotti Lodge, 2060 East Wellington Road.
