Sirkka Laitinen
1932 - 2016
With great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Sirkka Laitinen on August 31, 2016. Predeceased by husband Ake Laitinen, daughter Shirley Balcom, brothers Erik, Hjalmar and Veikko Rampanen, father and mother Joel and Lempi Rampanen.
Survived by daughters Tuija Reynolds, Monica Fransen, Nina Nordal (Roy), grandchildren Christina Balcom (Aaron Gallagher), Pauline Nordal, Roy Jr. Nordal (Kate), Karrie Anne Parker (Tim), Teresa Fransen, 7 great-grandchildren, 2 great-greats, brothers John (Charlotte) and Daniel Rampanen, numerous nephews and nieces.
Mum’s biggest treasure in life was her family. She enjoyed many happy times with all of us. A private family gathering will follow interment at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. For those whom wish donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
