SIGRID ASTRID EDITH
April 4, 1946 – August 21, 2010
Sigrid was predeceased by her parents, David & Edith Denbigh and her step brother, Eric. She is survived by her long time partner, Larry; her daughter, Karen (Rod); her granddaughters, Courtney and Lexi; her brothers, Brian (Sue) and Tim (June) and Larry’s daughter, Shelby and her family. Also mourning Sigrid’s passing is her dear friend Carol. Special thanks to Aunty Dina who has been so much a part of our life.
Sig was a quiet, but strong person, who loved family, gardening, music, live theatre and possessed a unique sense of humour and wit. She will be sorely missed by many other loving family members.
The family is extremely grateful to Angela and Carol and all the staff at the Palliative Care Unit for the excellent care that Sig received.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Kin Hut in Departure Bay on Sunday, September 5th from 2-6pm.
