Smiling and good natured, Scott will be remembered for his positive attitude, incredible work ethic, and the love he had for his family. He was a determined individual, an accomplished tradesman, a loving husband, father, grandfather & brother whose favourite pastimes were working on the family cars, keeping his yard in shape, swimming & boating in Cowichan Lake, cycling, playing pool, and in his younger days, playing poker.
As a heavy-duty mechanic in the logging industry Scott worked up and down the Island and was well known in the business as someone who would get the job done, with a smile. He ended his long career at the Harmac Pulp Mill where his reputation continued.
Scott is survived by his wife Olena, daughters Nicole and Vanessa, son-in-law Geoff, granddaughter Sophie, siblings Bruce (Fay), Doug (Nancy), Steve (Linda), Greg (Leah), Grant (Joe), Leanne and their families. He was predeceased by his Mother Claire, Father Donald, and nephew Brett.
A celebration of Scott's life will be held Friday, June 8, 2018 at 2:00 at the Nanaimo Golf Club, 2800 Highland Blvd, Nanaimo.
