Ruth Merlyn Page passed away peacefully at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. She is survived by her loving husband, William, of 36 years; son, William Hirny; daughter, Shirleyann Hirny; siblings, family and friends.
Ruth was very loving, caring and giving. We will miss her great sense of humour, her laugh and artistic talent. Her husband (and others) will miss her marvelous cooking.
God saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb,
So He closed your weary eyelids
And whispered, “Peace be thine.”
