Simmer, Ruth Lavinia
Passed away peacefully at NRGH in Nanaimo, February 25, 2010. She left us quietly and without suffering. She will continue to watch over us all and help us to heal. She loved to Garden, and on baking day, she made the finest bread, and her famous cinnamon buns. Her genuine smile, sense of humour, and her deep love of children will live on. Survived by her brother Jack Pain, and her 9 children, Barbara, Charmaine, David John, Peter, Ken, Julie, Kathleen/Tina, Christine, and Elizabeth, as well as many beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren. A special thanks to Bruce, for his kindness, and to Kiwanis Suites and the staff of NRGH for your exceptional care and gentleness. Heartfelt thanks to Dr Kaban for your excellence with Mom. No service by request, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Red Cross.
