Ruth passed away September 19, 2009 at her home at Nanaimo Travellers Lodge with her son Bill at her side.
Ruth, born May 6, 1913 in Winnipeg, was predeceased by her parents Phillip and Sarah Schick; her brothers; Harold, Karl, George; and sisters; Carolyne, Edna and Ella. Ruth was also predeceased by her husband Bill, an infant son and son Phillip. She is survived by her son Bill and by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Ruth will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at 1:00 pm at Trinity United Church or Nanaimo Travellers Lodge, 1298 Nelson Street, Nanaimo.
Bill would like to thank the staff of Nanaimo Travellers Lodge for the care and love Ruth received during her stay there.
