Rose Morris (nee Gyorffy) passed away peacefully at Dufferin Place at the age of 91. She was predeceased by her husband Steve in 1994. Rose immigrated from Hungary with her family to Lethbridge. She met her husband Steve there. They ended up settling in Nanaimo where they raised their children.
Family meant everything to Rose. She made sure everyone was well fed with her delicious Hungarian cooking and baking. She will be lovingly remembered by her 5 children: Bob (Deri) Morris, Nanaimo; Nick (Cherie) Morris, Nanaimo; Jim (Sandy) Morris, Langley; Joanne (Jim) Dobby, Nanaimo; David Morris, Nanaimo.
She will also be remembered by her adoring 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Dufferin Place for all of their loving care and support.
