Our family is sad to announce that Ron lost his battle with cancer.
He was predeceased by his parents and brother John. He is survived by his wife Vicki of 53 years; daughters Yolanda Wicks (Darren) and Pamela Jones. Grandchildren Nicole Wicks (Brett Freming), Laura Wicks (Jordan Foy), Harry Wicks. Brothers Bob Jones and Micheal (Ernie) Barwell. Sister-in-laws: Susan Jones, Charlotte (Don) Albion, Linda (Charlie) Clark, many nieces, nephews and other relatives, our dog Rambo.
Ron loved his girls and grandchildren very much. Time spent camping & fishing at Vernon Lake were special memories for him.
He was really proud of all three grandchildren graduating.
Ron was a past president of the Lantzville Legion Branch #257. He held various executive positions over the years. Ron enjoyed being the poppy chairman for several years & talking with the veterans. Ron was a 33 year life member.
Ron enjoyed time spent at the "Knowledge Table" at the well.
