March 31, 1946 - June 3, 2020
It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Frederick Blank (March 31/1946 - June 3/2020). Loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, friend and mentor.
He is predeceased by his parents Gordon and Christina Blank and brothers James and David Blank.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Linda Blank, daughter Deborah Blank(Roger Hubbard) and granddaughter Kalia Rickerby. Neices and Nephews: Graham Blank (Karen), (James) Paul Blank (Shirley), Melanie Blank-Shatford (Don), Judy Lindemark (Tor) as well as great neices and nephews: Pearl, Rubie, Rebeka, Kurt and Christopher.
He was a P.Med.Tech in the Canadian Armed Forces (25years),post retirement he was a health inspector for SD68, WHMIS health and safety consultant and trainer at Malaspina College, an NRS real estate agent, Rotary (Daybreak and International member & board (13yrs), Wellington Community Hall (board), Nanaimo Family History (board), Nanaimo Travellers Lodge & Eden Gardens (boards), Lakeside Gardens Strata Council (board), and last but certainly not least an avid golfer at Cottonwood Golf Course.
