LEE, Ron
A boat has sailed into the harbor and departed with a new sailor destined for the peaceful waters of Heaven on earth. Ron Lee to whom was known as “The Salty” passed away on February 6, 2010.
Ron is survived by his son Brent (Natalie); daughter Becky; and brother Jerry. Ron shared many memories with many close friends, He was a social person who loved to wheel, deal, and tinker. Ron was born here in Nanaimo on April 1st in 1946, and he spent nearly his entire life loving his family, exploring the endless spaces of Georgia Straight, Newcastle Island and Mount Benson.
People that were close to Ron, know that he will be here with us always. Ron will be watching his family and friends, and spending time watching calm waters in Kanaka Bay. A Celebration of Life will be held at Sands Funeral Chapel on Monday, February 15th at 1:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome!
