Bob was predeceased by wife Rosalie in 1997. Survived by his children; Bob jr (Dawn), Shirley (Dave), Jim, and Kathy, grandchildren; Shawna, Wade, Kirk (Rachel), Hailey, Ashley, great grandchildren; Sarah, Kate, Sydney, Branden, Madison, Tysen, and Riley, his sisters; Pearl, Shirley and Gloria, who always took good care of him.
Bob grew up and worked up and down the coast his whole life. One of his earlier jobs was on the steam tug (JR Morgan) alongside with his brother Bert. He worked on the boom for Mayo's at Mackay Lake, Northwest Bay and Nanaimo Lakes for CrownZellerbach, Fletcher Challenge and Timberwest. At age 50 he became a faller at Kyuquot.
Bob was a true family man who always loved the outdoors, spending his time hunting, fishing and camping. He would always put others before himself.
