It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father Robert Evanson (77 years). Robert was surrounded by loved ones when he passed away peacefully on the 25 May 2021 at the Palliative Unit of Nanaimo Hospital.
Robert was born in Nanaimo and he was a painter by trade. During his lifetime he loved sports such as hockey, camping, fishing, travelling and spending time with his family.
Robert was predeceased by his wife Thelma (Lindsay). He was a loving father to his four children Kathy High (Jody), Alaina Evanson, Tammy Brown (Noel) and Eric Evanson (Janice). He leaves behind three sisters, 11 grandchildren and many other extended family members.
At this time there will not be a funeral. The family will hold a small private ceremony in June.
Dad, your presence will always be felt and we will miss you greatly.
