NASH, Robert (Bob)
August 24, 1932 ~ September 13, 2011
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Bob Nash. He is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 28 years, Donna. He will be deeply missed by his children: Cathy, Chris, Theresa, Susan, Lori, Deb, Bill, Steve and their spouses, as well as 22 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters: Bernice (Stan) and Freddi (Chuck) as well as several nieces and nephews.
Bob was born and raised in Nanaimo and was a 3rd generation of Nash Hardware Merchants. Bob retired in 1988 and moved to his paradise in Lake Cowichan.
The family would like to thank the many friends and neighbors for their love and concern through this difficult time. We would also like to thank the attending physicians and nurses at Royal Jubliee Hospital in Victoria for their care and attention.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made, in Bob’s name, to Canuck Place or Ducks unlimited.
A service will be held at Sands Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 1:00p.m.
