Robert (Bob) Lloyd Haggith
June 17, 1930 ~ January 3, 2013
It is with great saddness that we announce the passing of Bob Haggith. Bob passed away suddenly, peacefully, at home at the age of 82. He was born in Glencoe, Ontario, the youngest of ten children and the last survivor. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Margaret; daughter, Linda Dorset and son, Bobby; grandchildren: Clifton, Collin (Joleen), Angela, Stephen; great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Bob worked for Baby’s Own Dairy and later had his own business, B&B Flooring. Dad was involved with Harewood Firehall for 38 years, later as Chief, and volunteered many years for Nanaimo Empire Days Committee. He will be remembered for his wisdom, generosity, helpfulness and concern for others.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Cranberry Committee Firehall, 1555 Morden Rd, Nanaimo from 1-4pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation to your favorite charity would be appreciated.
