Rick was a carpenter in the true sense. He was born with a passion to build, an eye for design. He did so much more than build houses; he created homes that were made with integrity, uncompromising quality, and love. He loved to tell stories. He loved to be in the warmth of the sun. He loved to cook. He loved to create. But, above all else, he loved his family.
Rick died suddenly of a heart attack on May 8 while doing the thing that he was born to do. He will be missed.
A celebration of life will be held at the Vink residence on July 11 at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation could be made in his name.
