Copeland, Richard
(Dick) Arthur
passed away peacefully on December 11, 2003 at age 74 years. Predeceased by his sister Alice Kennedy and his brother George Copeland. He is survived and fondly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Irene; his children, Brian (Anne), Murray, Barry (Dianne), Brenda; and his grandchildren, Kathleen, Aaron, Kimberly and Meagan. The family gives their heartfelt thanks to all the health care providers that cared for Dick, including ambulance and rescue attendants, nurses, doctors and staff at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital and home care. Special appreciation to Dr. Swain, Dr. Davies, Dr. Silva, Dr. Spry and the nurses on the fourth, first and fifth floors. A memorial service was held on December 20 at First Memorial. The family warmly thanks Fred Massey and all at First Memorial, as well as friends and family, for their thoughtful support.
